Serbian finance minister announces tax reduction
BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic on Thursday announced a reduction of some tax rates and tougher measures for combating un loyal competition in order to stimulate domestic production.
Speaking with representatives of the leading companies rallied at the Serbian Business Club, Djelic said that tax on large financial transactions would be reduced from 0.6 to 0.3 percent. A further reduction is planned to take place by the end of the year and the tax will be completely eliminated next year, he added.
