Simitis presents draft plan for Balkan reconstruction
BELGRADE, Thursday (B92) – Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis today presented in Belgrade a draft agreement on implementing Greece’s proposals for the reconstruction of the Balkan region.
Federal Prime Minister Dragisa Pesic met Simitis to discuss political and economic relations between the two countries.
Under the draft reconstruction agreement, which is expected to be finalized by the end of June, Yugoslavia is to receive 230 million Euros in aid over the next four years for infrastructure, hospitals and schools.
