Yugoslav minister addresses un ECE session in Geneva
GENEVA - Yugoslavia is ready to do its best to strengthen economic preconditions for maintaining security in the region, Yugoslav Minister for the Economy and Home Trade Petar Trojanovic said on Wednesday, addressing a UN Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) session in Geneva.
Trojanovic said that Yugoslavia was trying to develop an open market economy, strengthen democratic institutions, adopt appropriate legislation and achieve a full inclusion in the European integrations in order to help preserve security in the region.
