Agreement of USA and European union about Serbia and Montenegro
Washington - Among other topics, the traditional summit of USA and European Union also dealt with initiative that 'prevented another potential crisis in the Balkans'. The initiative in question is initiative by European Union about redefinition of relations between Serbia and Montenegro. The summit supported initiative that EU, USA and International community support in an adequate manner started economic and democratic reforms in agreed union of equal states of Serbia and Montenegro. Belgrade and Podgorica are requested to provide more rapid legislative procedure that will bring into life the new state union within defined time limits.
