In Serbia by end of year - 60,000 more people without work, official
BELGRADE - Privatization and restructuring of firms will leave without work 60,000 more people while unemployment is expected to reach its highest level by the middle of next year and then to start falling, when the revival of production is expected to create many new jobs.

"Much more money should be invested into active measures of employment, but, unfortunately, that is not possible, because funds go elsewhere - for paying unemployment benefits, said Serbian labor market institute director Svetozar Krstic for the Friday issue of Politika.
