Holcim closes acquisition of Serbia's Novi Popovac plant, debt 7 mln USD
ZURICH (AFX) - Holcim AG said it has closed the acquisition of a 70 pct stake in Serbia's Novi Popovac plant from the Republic of Serbia for 52.5 mln usd.
A debt restructuring plan has been agreed upon, reducing Novi Popovac's debt to 7 mln usd.
The plant's annual cement capacity exceeds 1 mln tons. (AFX Europe)
