Dinar to be convertible abroad in May - NBY Governor
BELGRADE - Owing to the adoption of a law on foreign currency operations, the dinar will become convertible internationally in May, National Bank of Yugoslavia Governor Mladjan Dinkic told the Monday issue of the Belgrade daily Politika.
The dinar will appear on the exchange rate lists in Hungary, Greece, Austria, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, even in London, Dinkic said and added that citizens and the economy would also enjoy some benefits.
