Law on 'old hard currency saving' refused
Belgrade - Deputies of the House of Commons of federal Parliament refused at yesterday's session the Law on hard currency operations regarding old hard currency saving. Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia Mladjan Dinkic said that that law was a precondition for payments to people that had their hard currency deposits at Dafiment Bank. Dinkic suggested to people that had their deposits to address president of Democratic Party of Serbia Vojislav Kostunica because deputies of that party had not voted for the law. The Governor also said that the National Bank of Yugoslavia was not going to submit new proposals.
