EU aid deal signed
BELGRADE, Friday – Yugoslavia and the European Agency for Reconstruction this morning signed an agreement for 1.5 million Euros in aid.
Speaking after signing the agreement, Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus told media that the money was earmarked for the establishment of an office for European integrations within the Federal Government.
The head of the European Agency for Reconstruction’s Belgrade office, Richard Zink, told media that the time had come for funding which would be used to expedite the process of Yugoslavia’s integration into the European Union.
