NBY Governor calls for speedier adoption of reform laws in banking
BELGRADE - National Bank of Yugoslavia Governor Mladjan Dinkic on Tuesday called on the Yugoslav parliament to adopt bank reform bills by May 1, saying that otherwise the inflow of foreign investments, reforms and economic recovery could be slowed down.

"If by the end of this week the federal parliament does not adopt bills that have been in the procedure for more than a month, I think that we will come into serious jeopardy of being able to say that reforms are in a deadlock because of parliament," Dinkic told a news conference.
