New ecological legislation soon
Belgrade, April 23, 2002 - The Serbian Prime Minister's advisor for environmental protection said today that the Draft law on environmental protection is in the final stage of fine-tuning, and that he believes the Government will soon adopt and submit it to parliament, such that Serbia will have both ecological legislation adjusted to EU standards and comprehensive environmental protection, in accord with the Serbian government's new ecological policy.
