Investments in big infrastructure projects
BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Trade Minister Goran Pitic has said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) should in May confirm a stand-by credit arrangement for Yugoslavia worth about 800 million dollars.
"The definite decision about the arrangement with the World Bank should be adopted in May, or verified, actually," Pitic said in an interview published in the Belgrade daily Borba on Monday.
There is an initiative to draw new lines also from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and to work through on the idea to create a type of consortium encompassing big infrastructure projects, between the public and private sector, Pitic said.
