Yugoslav officials present country's reforms in The Hague
THE HAGUE - Yugoslav Deputy Premier Miroljub Labus and Yugoslav National Bank Governor Mladjan Dinkic presented the economic and banking reforms in Yugoslavia and possibilities for bilateral cooperation to Netherlands officials in The Hague on Tuesday.

Presenting data on the Yugoslav economy and relevant plans, Labus said the almost 120-percent inflation of mid-2000 had been reduced to under 20 percent during the first four months this year, and that the per capita income was 1,100 US dollars.

In addition to the economy, Labus listed as one of the key areas for investments the project on the development of traffic corridor 10, from central to southern Europe, which passes through Yugoslavia.

"We do not want to make just a highway, but the complete infrastructure. That project is of great importance for the region and inter-state cooperation," Labus said.
