Yugoslav statistics bureau notes drop in exports, imports in March 2002
Yugoslav exports in March amounted to 156m dollars, which is 22 per cent down on the same month last year, the Federal Statistics Bureau has said.
The bulk of the exports, 76m dollars, went to the developed countries, but this is 35.6 per cent down on March 2001.
The March imports totaled 387m dollars - 22 per cent down.
The majority of imports came from the developed countries - 202m dollars, although this is a 20 per cent decrease.
About 187m dollars went for the import of consumer goods, 158m dollars for raw materials and semi-manufactures and only 35m dollars for equipment.
