Yugoslavia, Turkey agree to set up business council, promote cooperation
Istanbul, 11 April: Representatives of Yugoslavia and Turkey signed Thursday [11 April] in Istanbul, in the presence of Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic, an agreement on the founding of a business council of Yugoslavia and Turkey and on the cooperation of the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
Addressing earlier in the day members of the council for international economic relations of Turkey, Svilanovic voiced hope that between the two countries will be signed an agreement on free trade, which, he assessed, will spur bilateral economic cooperation, but also give an impetus to economic relations in the region...
