Yugoslav National bank governor travels to Washington for World Bank meeting

Belgrade: The governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia, Mladjan Dinkic, is at the head of a delegation traveling to Washington today for negotiations with the World Bank on a line of credit for the private and financial sector.

The credit of 70m dollars over twenty years is intended to finance the reform and development of the private and banking sector in Serbia. The delegation includes Serbia's Privatization Minister Aleksandar Vlahovic, Federal Finance Minister Zeljko Kljun and other senior officials.
